The fight for electoral equality didn’t end in the 1960’s. In Lena, you can count on a fierce advocate to ensure every Wisconsinite has equal access to the ballot box. That’s why Lena fought so hard against efforts to keep people of color, senior citizens and college students from impacting our elections. Not only did Lena fight against Wisconsin’s photo ID for voting law, she also fought against reductions in early voting and campaign finance reforms that put far too much electoral power in the hands of corporations and the wealthiest donors.
